Hours of Opening
Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm.
All children must be collected from the Nursery by 6pm.
Not only has your child had a long day, but also staff are entitled to finish their day on time. Whilst we appreciate that delays can be unavoidable, to cover our costs caring for children when parents are late, we reserve the right to charge £10.00 for every 15 minutes, or part 15 minutes. At 6.30pm, the charge rises to £15.00 for every 15 minutes.
Late collection charges must be paid on the day to the members of staff who stayed late.
There is a policy of no smoking anywhere on the Nursery premises.
It is important that the Nursery be notified if your child is to be absent, this can be done by telephoning the Nursery.
If your child is ill, we ask that you do not bring him/her to Nursery. Please inform us if your child has an infectious illness such as chickenpox so that we may warn other parents. Please keep your child home for 24 hours following a bout of sickness or diarrhoea, or when commencing antibiotics. The Nursery Health Policy is displayed on the parents' notice board.
Children will not be released to anyone unknown to the staff. Parents MUST inform the Officer in Charge immediately they are unable to collect their child. The appointed person will then be required to provide personal identification and a password.
When a child starts Nursery, parents are asked to provide;

Clothing should be clearly named to avoid confusion. Please provide above items in a cloth bag (not a plastic bag) We ask that if possible not to send your child to Nursery with any jewellery for the safety of your child and other children. If your child is unable to tie their own shoe laces, or in the process of learning, we would prefer them to wear velcros fastening shoes.
The Nursery regrets we cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage to personal
clothing or articles.
We expect and encourage good behaviour and manners from our children. It is our policy to distract and reason with a disruptive child. We also request that you do not send children to Nursery with sweets, toy guns, weapons or other unsuitable toys.
